This Gustav Emil Ern Heavy Chopper with a riveted handle, is superbly balanced, ideal for chopping through most bones. The POM handles can be dishwashered but the blade prefers avoiding caustic washing detergents often used in dishwashers. Special order item - 3-4 week delivery
Made from superior grade of stainless steel to guarantee a longer lasting cutting edge. High corrosion resistance. Choppers have heavy rectangular blades with strong edges for delivering blows that would nick chunks out of lighter knives. The blade should account for more than half the weight of the copper and a good one feels as if it is dropping forward and down, almost doing the job for you.
