Does Swiss Diamond Cookware really have diamonds in or is it a con?
Hi, yes it does sound a bit unbelievable, but Swiss Diamond Cookware really does have real diamonds in it. The diamond crysals are mixed into the non stick layer to make it incredibly strong. I have both a Swiss Diamond frying pan and a Gastrolux saute pan. I use the Swiss Diamond cookware as my workhorse - I use metal utensils in it all the time and it is the only non stick pan I have ever had that is not damaged by this. The Gastrolux saute pan is better performing in terms of its non stick properties, but it does need more care. I would never use metal utensils with it.
So, no, you are not being conned. The Swiss Diamond cookware has the diamonds (albeit in small quantities) and it really does have an incredibly durable non stick surface as a result. Here is the link to the range which comes in either standard cookware or Swiss Diamond induction cookware
